Many Bangladeshis break their fast during Ramadan with a reviving sherbet. Not only is this date and almond Sherbet great, but home preparation of it is simple. Full of minerals and natural sweetness, it’s the ideal approach to relax following a demanding fasting day. You can create this by:
Ingredients:
7-8 dates (khajur), Two cups of quite thick milk, One tablespoon of chopped almonds, kaju or Kath badam, ½ cup of syrup or sugar (tasteful adjustment), Two cups of ice-cold water.

Orders :
Get the dates ready by removing and carefully washing the seeds from them. Cut them little bits.
Heat the milk in a pan until it thickens just slightly. Let it cool off.
Prepare the almonds by soaking them for ten to fifteen minutes in hot water. Peel off the skins then cut them into little bits.
Combine the chopped dates, sugar—or syrup, thickened milk, and cold water in a blender. Blend until silky.
Present the Sherbet in glasses and sprinkle chopped almonds on top. Present cold, and savor!

Advice
You can cut the sugar and rely on the dates’ inherent sweetness for a better choice.
For an aromatic twist, toss in a little of cardamom powder.
Use almond milk rather than ordinary milk if you would want a creamier texture.
Iftar dates are a traditional Sunnah method to break your fast, offering quick energy and vital nutrients, hence this Sherbet is ideal. Rich in proteins and good fats, almonds give a crisp texture. During Ramadan, taken together they provide a healthy and refreshing diorite. Try it and enjoy it with your family, ideal for Bangladeshi iftar tables, the delight of handmade sweetness.
